Declan was born and raised in Sacramento, California. He is about to graduate from The Hartt School at the University of Hartford with a BFA in Musical Theatre.

Declan was introduced into theatre at a very young age. he was given the Original Cast Recording of Annie in his easter basket one year. He immediately became obsessed. When he discovered the movie version (1999 one)…life changed. He also grew up loving The Wizard of Oz. He was always putting on productions in his house and making friends perform them when they came over.

Declan started performing in shows in 2007. His first show was Alice in Wonderland JR. where he played the King of Hearts. He never stopped after that. He kept doing theatre all through middle school and high school and then knew he wanted to continue with it in college.
